Dr. Gresham is a Native of Hempstead, New York. Tina C. Gresham M.D., is a dual-degree graduate from Howard University, earning Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 1975, where she also served as Clinical Specialist in Oncology and Critical Care Nursing.
She then pursued and completed her M.D. degree from Howard University College of Medicine and then attended Duke University from 1987-1993, where she completed her internal medicine internship and residency programs and a fellowship in Invasive and Preventive Cardiology.
In 1993 she relocated to Murfreesboro Tennessee as a partner with The Page-Campbell Cardiology group, establishing their presence in Murfreesboro and the Invasive Cardiology program at Middle Tennessee Medical Center (now St Thomas Rutherford). It was there where she and her colleague (Dr. Gary Deweese) developed and performed the first cardiac catheterizations in Murfreesboro Tennessee.
In 2003 she established her own practice with an emphasis on Wellness and Prevention as well as General Cardiology. She has published numerous articles pertaining to diet and preventive lifestyles as well as cardiovascular disease in women and our communities as a whole!
Dr. Gresham was the keynote speaker at the Middle Tennessee American Heart Association "Go Red" Campaign luncheon in 2007 and the "Go Red-Women of Color Breakfast" at MeHarry College of Medicine in March 2017. She serves as a frequent lecturer and resource to health professionals and community health education programs on Cardiovascular Risk Factors and Lifestyles and their impact on cardiovascular health.
